Deadline for entries: Sunday, June 13, noon EST.
Have a good idea about how to use Twitter? Got something to say about your organization or products? Can you sum it up in less than 140 characters? Then you may get a chance to go on stage and tell everyone about it at TWTRCON NY!
Three TWTRCON NY attendees will have a chance to be on stage during our Open Mike panel, hosted by Susan McPherson of PR Newswire. For a chance to participate, all you have to do is compose a tweet summing up what you want to talk about.
On the day of the event, TWTRCON NY attendees will to vote for which tweets should go on stage. If your tweet is one of the top 3 vote-getters, you’ll get 140 seconds on stage to tell everyone more about your idea, company or product!*
Here’s how to enter:
- Register for TWTRCON NY 2010. You’ve got to be there to present!
- Compose your tweet. The tweet must begin with “#TWTRCON OpenMike: ” That’s 18 characters. You’ve got 122 left.
- Send your tweet. If you’re registered, we’ll publish it on our site and include it in the OpenMike ballot we’ll be handing out to attendees.
At TWTRCON NY on June 14, we’ll be asking everyone attending TWTRCON NY to vote for their favorite tweets – and the three with the highest number of votes will be called up to present. Good luck!

*Sorry, you will not be able to use slides. You can either speak and then take questions from the audience, or ask Susan to interview you if you’re more comfortable with that approach.
